Usually, the color sorter is composed of four parts: feeding system, irradiation and detection system, information processing system, and separation execution system according to its functional machine structure. The functions of each part of the system are as follows:

Among them, the irradiation part mainly uses materials such as light sources, and the detection part mainly uses X-ray perspective technology and infrared sensors to detect the feedback information of the ore under the action of external conditions such as light source and radiation.
(3) Information processing system: The information processing system is the control part of the entire color sorter, which is equivalent to the brain center and has control functions such as analysis and decision-making. It is mainly based on the detected signal to complete the recognition task, and the drive separation signal is further processed by amplifiers and other equipment.
(4) Separation execution part: The separation execution part is mainly to receive the signal of the information processing system, and separate the ore or waste rock from the original trajectory.
