Types of sealing machines
According to the different types of metal cans and sealing requirements, there are various types of sealing machines, generally divided into manual sealing machines, semi-automatic sealing machines, and automatic sealing machines.
Manual can sealing machine is a single station machine that can be driven by foot pedals or electric motors. However, the can needs to be manually placed on the sealing station and then manually operated to start the sealing process.
The semi-automatic can sealing machine is a single station machine driven by an electric motor. The can is placed at the sealing station, and the sealing process is automatically carried out after pressing the start button or control lever.
The automatic can sealing machine can be a single station or a multi station machine. The cans are transported to the sealing station by a conveyor belt, and the cans are evenly spaced on the conveyor belt by a conveyor chain with evenly distributed protrusions or feed chain forks. The conveyor belt is linked to the sealing device on the can sealing machine.
Sealing performance of sealing machine
The sealing performance of a can sealer refers to the ability of a semi-automatic or fully automatic can sealing machine to ensure a tight and secure seal during the sealing process, preventing product leakage or air ingress, thereby ensuring the shelf life and quality of the product.
At present, most of the technologically advanced can sealing machine enterprises adopt the four roll sealing process to achieve tight and firm sealing. At the same time, the design of the tank body not rotating during the sealing process also avoids the problem of material spillage caused by the rotation of the tank body used in old sealing machines. In addition, the absence of leakage points is also an important indicator of the sealing machine, which requires that the sealing machine not only seals tightly during the sealing process, but also the entire sealing area should be uniform and smooth, without any leakage gaps or weak points.
The quality of these indicators directly affects the shelf life and quality of the product. For example, if the tin can sealing machine does not seal firmly or has leakage points, the product may deteriorate or be contaminated during the shelf life, thereby affecting the quality and safety of the product. Therefore, when purchasing a can sealing machine, special attention should be paid to its sealing performance and leak free indicators to ensure that the equipment’s performance and quality meet production needs.
