Brew Methods:
(1)Cold: 1 teabag per 600cc bottle and shake it really hard, then chilled, tastes better.
(2)Hot: 1 teabag per cup for 10-20 seconds. (100°C hot water, cup with lid will be better)
Mr. Xie, Vice-President of R.O.C.(Taiwan), visited Mt. Ali and drank this tea. He was so impressed about the special floral fragrance and beautiful taste of the tea; that he named it “ The Dew of Mountain Ali”.
After then, the reputation of both teas spread quickly, becoming well-known across the world, as “Golden Sunshine”-the two most famous teas of Mountain Ali.

Mr Jiang, President of R.O.C. (Taiwan), visited Mingjian Township in 1975 and drank this tea. He was very impressed by the hard-working tea farmers and the good weather that enabled them to grow good quality green-oolong tea the whole year around.
This reminded him of the ancient Chinese proverb in “Book of Songs” which states only the great pine tree and the cypress tree stay green during a severe cold winter.Thus he named this tea “Forever Green”.

This high-mountain oolong tea is produced from the tea gardens located at an altitude of over 1000 meters and its major producing area is Mount Ali in Chiayi county. “Golden Sunshine” is one of the best blends of high-mountain tea trees.

Because of the cold and humid weather, and the heavy mountain clouds in the morning and evening, the tea gets a shorter average sunshine period. Thus, the tea has great characteristics, such as black-green appearance, sweet taste, refined aroma and lasts through many brews.

It was originally produced in the mountain regions in Luku of Nantou county. Tungding Oolong, being the most historical and mysterious tea of Taiwan, is unique for its ball-rolling processing, tea leaves are so tight that they look like little balls.
The appearance is deep green. The brew color is bright golden-yellow. The aroma is strong. The mellow and complex taste usually lasts very long on the tongue and throat after drinking the tea.

This good quality black tea ismade around Sun-Moon lake which is located in Yuchih, Puli of Nantou county. In 1999 the TRES institute in Taiwan developed the new cultivar-TTES No. 18.
